Join us for some stretching, toning and lots of giggles!! Goat Yoga combines the relaxing benefits of yoga with the joy of baby goat cuddles. Interacting with goats can help you feel more connected to nature and provide a sense of joy and relaxation, it's also a great and highly entertaining experience to share with friends.
Engaging in yoga helps to gently awaken your body and mind, promoting flexibility and mindfulness. This practice can help reduce stress, enhance focus, and boost your mood, allowing you to carry a sense of calm and balance throughout your week.
Any student of Hull University welcome to join, perfect if you’ve just read through the election manifestos and need to relax or you are one of our candidates and need a break from campaigning!
Please only book a place if you are definitely able to attend.
If you cannot attend for any reason, please contact us ASAP on elections@hull.ac.uk so we can ensure someone else is able to enjoy the Goats.
Waiver Information
By purchasing a ticket you agree to - Listen to and follow all the safety guidelines given by staff members. - Wash my hands thoroughly using the hand washing facilities provided, with soap and water. - Not put my hands in or near my mouth. - Not kiss or lick any animals. - Wear sensible and appropriate attire to take part in the session, something comfortable that you can move around in.
All animals naturally carry a range of micro-organisms, some of which can be transmitted to humans, in whom they may cause ill health. It is very important you follow our guidelines whilst at our farm and listen to our staff members when they are providing their safety talks.
Infection can occur when people come into contact with animal faeces or saliva (even very small amounts) by:
• Touching or kissing animals in petting areas or during bottle-feeding.
• Feeding, stroking or touching animals through gates or pens.
• Touching gates, or animal pen divisions, or other structures contaminated with faeces.
• Picking up contaminated feed from the floor.
• Removing contaminated footwear or clothing.
• Eating, drinking and smoking with contaminated hands.
• Using contaminated play equipment.
• Touching personal items taken on to the premises that have become contaminated, e.g. dropped.
toys or dummies and pushchair wheels.
• Being bitten.
You MUST wash your hands thoroughly after your experience with us using the hand washing facilities provided, with soap and water. Hands should be washed before eating, drinking or smoking and after leaving the animal contact areas. Staff members will advise/ remind you to use our handwashing facilities on site. Hands must be washed before leaving the premises.
If any participants do not respect our rules, they will be asked to leave the premises.
If you fail to follow our guidelines and safety instructions, Ings Park Alpacas and Hull University Students’ Union will not be liable for any harm/ infections/ injuries whilst taking part in the session.
