Dance Taster Session (with Hull University Dance Squad)

WHO?

Hull University Dance Squad will host this taster session.

WHAT?

Come and try out a range of styles of dance, including: ballet, jazz, lyrical, commercial, street, tap and musical theatre. 

They will be half an hour sessions of each style, wether you’re a beginner or have danced all your life there’s something for you! 

Remember to bring water and appropriate clothes e.g leggings/joggers/shorts and a top and specific shoes if you have them but don’t worry if not! (tap, ballet etc).

WHY?

Taking part in sport and physical activity has obvious physical and mental benefits, but specifically at university, joining a sports team has shown benefits to combatting loneliness, improving concentration in academic work, and encouraging students to remain at university to achieve a qualification. The main aim is to make friends, have fun and to try something new.
