Men's Hockey Taster Session (with Hull University Men's Hockey Club)

WHO?

Hull University Men's Hockey Club will host this taster session.

WHAT?

The give it a go session will be a session on the astro pitch which will start with a light warmup with opportunities to have a chat and get to know one another.

This will lead into some training that involves everyone of all abilities, so if you have never tried hockey before do not hesitate to join in.

The club will also be looking for more experienced players of as there will be competitive opportunities straight away in the term.

WHY?

Taking part in sport and physical activity has obvious physical and mental benefits, but specifically at university, joining a sports team has shown benefits to combatting loneliness, improving concentration in academic work, and encouraging students to remain at university to achieve a qualification. The main aim is to make friends, have fun and to try something new.
