Give Surf a Go! (With Hull University Surf Club)…

Location: Dexters Surf Shop, School & Hire Centre Ltd. Kepwick House North Bay Scarborough YO12 7TN

Public transport: Northern train to Scarborough, 10:20 Hull Paragon OR 10:28 Cottingham departure, earliest return 3:02pm (totalling £8.30 Cott - £9.10 Hull) recurring hourly (4:02pm, 5:02pm) or preferably opt for open return (£12.65 Cott - £13.95 Hull) 

What it will include/what to expect: On each session, we will assess your ability at the start and work on what is most needed. Like so many others before you our fully qualified Surfing England, SLSGB instructors will have you catching waves in no time! You will receive close guidance and helpful tips. We’ll start off with safety and water awareness, move onto surf fundamentals, before heading out into the water for the bulk of the session. We provide everything required to participate in the lesson. Boards, wetsuits, safety equipment, lockers, toilets, and full changing facilities – located at the shop.

Things to bring: We recommend you bring water, a towel, a change of clothes, and swimwear. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before the lesson begins so you can be fitted with your wetsuit and use the changing facilities. The session runs for 1.5hrs so you’ll need around 2 hours altogether.
