This postgraduate research only event will take us to the city centre where we'll recieve a guided tour provided kindly by Hull Maritime and Hull Museums.
Starting at the Museum Quarter gardens, outside the Hull and East Riding Museum, the tour which runs in the morning lasts up to 2 ½ hours and takes in the future location of the Arctic Corsair at North End Shipyard, Queens Gardens, the exterior of the Maritime Museum and the new location of the Spurn Lightship in Hull Marina. Other key landmarks include Blaydes House and Hull Marina.
We'll be helping you get to the town centre at 10am ready for the tour, the tickets for the tour are free but if you wish to donate to you can follow the website instructions here: https://www.hullmuseums.co.uk/.
Meet in student central (outside SPAR) at 9:45, please be prompt as we will be leaving shortly after this time to catch the 10am bus into the city centre. Please bring cash or card for a bus ticket into the city centre, this should only cost £6 for a return trip.
We will also explore Humber street after the tour where you can look in souvenir shops before we make our way back to student central. If you wish to stay longer you are more than welcome to.
