Take a break with the President for Union Development and visit the museums in Hull's historic Old Town.
Hull's Old Town has three wonderful museums in its museum quarter for you to visit! Join Sam on a bus ride to the city centre followed by a guided walk to the free museums quarter. From there, you can explore the following museums at your leisure:
- Hull and East Riding Museum of Archaeology
- Visit exhibitions across different eras of Hull and East Riding including Roman, Viking and Medieval life!
- Streetlife Museum of Transport
- A collection of galleries of transport including a 1940's street installation and several vehicles. It also houses vintage arcade games and great spaces for photo ops!
- Wilberforce House
- The Birthplace of MP William Wilberforce, Hull's most celebrated abolitionist. The museum is a testament to the emancipation movement and highlights the history of slavery in Wilberforce's restored 18th Century home.
Bus ticket is provided. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water or snacks if needed.
