VARSITY 2026 #WeAreHull

What: Since 2014, the student groups from Hull University Students’ Union and Lincoln Students’ Union have gone head to head in an annual event called Varsity: The Humber Games. The event is one of the most anticipated and competitive occasions of the academic year and encourages lots of our students to either represent or support their University through sports and society activities. Come and support Hull and let's get that trophy back!

Varsity Wristband - allows you to participate and/or spectate freely and gives you entry into the results announcement and After Party at Asylum - don't forget your student card and ID for asylum though!

Limited Edition 2026 Varsity T-shirt (sizes to choose from are S, M, L, XL, XXL - limited number of each size so be quick!)

Facility hire for all activities

Cost of Officials/Security

Transport provided to external venues (Costello, Beverley Leisure Centre, Mad Volume, Cottingham Tennis Club, Hustlers Pool Hall)

Access to Give it a Go events/Stalls in Student Central

Terms and Conditions:

Participants must have a pack in order to compete - team sheets and pack purchases will be check against each other.

All attendees will be held to HUSU's policies and procedures - this includes but is not limited to Alcohol and Initiations Policy, Zero-Tolerance Policy, Social Media Policy etc. If these are broken, you will be subject to HUSU's disciplinary process.

These packs for students and alumni. You will be asked to provide your student card at the fixtures/activities to check you are a student if you are participating. You will be asked to provide your student card and ID when entering Asylum. If you are not a student or alumni you will have to buy a guest ticket and get signed in by a student.

If you are an alumni, please state you are an alumni when buying the pack as your name will be on a list given to commercial on the night - you will still need ID to enter Asylum.

No refunds are available.

No alcohol will be allowed in the facilities, only in licensed venues (e.g. Sanc). Bag searches will be taking place going into Allam Sports Center and going towards the outdoor pitches. If you are found with alcohol this will be taken off you. If you are found to be drinking alcohol in a sporting venue you will be removed from the venue. If you are found to be intoxicated before or during your fixture/activity, you will be removed from the activity and points will be awarded to the opposition. The same goes for non-prescription drugs.
